about
"Forgotten Magic" is a 19:00 live solo improvisation performed by Greg at The Prism Coffeehouse in Charlotesville, Virginia, sometime in early 2000, the recording of which was just uncovered in late 2019. The performance was broadcast live on WTJU-FM, hosted by Fred Boyce, longtime director of The Prism.
The piece was performed on a 10-string Chapman Stick with the standard Stickup pickup, and processed live using a Lexicon MPX-G2, an Eventide DSP4000 and a Boss SE-70. It was recorded on an Alesis ADAT-XT, and mixed using Logic.

If the name Markus Reuter is known to you, you must probably also know, that there is an instrument called U8 Touch Guitar. That beast has a semi-acoustic brother, the AU8, and that one is ably demonstrated by Stefan Huth on this charming little album. Very pleasant listening due to the tasteful playing and, of course, the nice sound of the AU8.
